The Green Seal is awarded to products that meet the standards of performance, safety and reliability. Because HOST Dry Carpet Cleaner achieved the Green Seal Certification, you can be sure that it will promote a cleaner, healthier environment, cause less toxic pollution, reduce waster and conserve resources and habitats.

Woolsafe Approved

These marks can be seen on the packaging and on the information and advertising material of certain carpet maintenance chemicals. Whether it is a product for professionals or for domestic use, it is a sign of excellence. It means that the product had been independently tested against stringent international criteria and found to be safe and effective to use on wool carpets and rugs. Used according to the manufacturers' instructions, these products will not cause damage to the fibres or colours and will not promote rapid resoiling.
The WoolSafe Organization comment:
The advantage of this(Von Schrader) system is that because of the small amount of water used there is less chance of over-wetting or damage to the backing. This is particularly important on woven carpets. Drying time is also less with this method than with hot water extraction. Tested by Cleaning Research International in accordance with NZWB Test Methods and suitable for use on 100% Wool and Wool-rich carpets.

The Green WoolSafe® Mark is for environmentally responsible cleaning products. They have to be WoolSafe® approved and also have to meet the requirements of Green Seal or Environmental Choice/EcoLogo for their environmental impact.
